Musicianship Teacher
For 2 days a week, Tim works as a Primary school music teacher and teaches curriculum music to all children from reception to year 6 at a multi academy trust in Gloucestershire.
His approach is highly influenced by the Kodaly method, which develops musicianship though singing. He is working towards the British Kodaly Academy’s Primary Certificate. He was the recipient of the 2022 Cecilia Vajda Memorial Scholarship which enabled him to pursue his studies at the BKA Summer School. He holds a high distinction for the organisations most advanced Musicianship qualification.
Tim has graduated with a Primary PGCE from the University of Gloucestershire and Early Years Teacher Status from Essex Primary SCITT.
