From primary school canteens to the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the Southbank Centre, Tim has a wide range of experience presenting concerts to all kinds of audiences. Upcoming engagements include concerts at Wigmore Hall, the Royal College of Music and English National Ballet School.
Oboist
Tim studied at the Royal Academy of Music and has gone on to perform as Principal Oboe with Southbank Sinfonia, English Touring Opera and Oxford Philharmonic. He has played at the BBC Proms, Buckingham Palace, the Royal Opera House, and been broadcast as a concerto soloist on BBC Radio 3.
Director and Actor/Musician
Tim is increasingly in demand as a creative director to devise inspiring and engaging performances for young audiences. He is currently working on projects for MishMash Productions, the RCM and Wigmore Hall Learning.
Tim had a principal role in Flux, a collaboration between Southbank Sinfonia and acclaimed choreographer and movement director Imogen Knight. He also played the title role in Glitterbird, a production commissioned by Wigmore Hall Learning, directed by Freya Wynn-Jones.
Accompanist
Tim is also an accomplished pianist and has accompanied performances for concerts with Wigmore Hall Learning and Streetwise Opera. He also leads song writing workshops and singing assemblies from the piano.
